The recycled polylaminate granules produced by Ecoplasteam will be marketed by the Dutch group in Italy, France and the United Kingdom.
The Ecoplasteam company has entrusted IMCD Group with the distribution of EcoAllene®, a regenerated granule based on polyethylene and aluminum obtained by recycling, with proprietary technology, polylaminated containers (PE / AL). The first countries to be covered by the trade agreement are Italy, France and the United Kingdom.

“We were looking for a distributor with a consolidated presence throughout Europe, a strong technical-commercial competence and a sustainable approach: IMCD meets all these criteria”, says Stefano Richaud, CEO of Ecoplasteam.

Based in the Netherlands, the IMCD Group operates in the marketing, sale and distribution of specialty chemicals, with 3,000 employees in 50 countries and a portfolio of 49,000 customers. In the 2019 financial year it achieved a turnover of almost 2.7 billion euros.
